Everyone should take precaution and DO NOT walk alone. I am an American guy and was hit with a metal pole thrown in a car and had everything I had on my person stolen...everything, including gum, chapstick, lotion, let alone 200 euros, watch, cell phone, etc. It is a very dangerous place at night down the side streets of La Rambla....please please be careful if traveling there.
